The S400 i5 comes with the the powerful Intel® Core™ i5 2.4GHz processor that can be boosted to 2.9Ghz thanks to Intel's TurboBoost technology. It also features a 700NIT sunlight-readable display and a glove-friendly multi-touch high-definition display and a water-resistant backlit keyboard.

On the communications front, in addition to 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth, an optional Gobi™ 2000 WWAN upgrade enables 3G connectivity over ANY major carrier. Security remains a hallmark of Getac products and that shows in the S400's advanced security features: A fingerprint scanner, TPM 1.2, and SmartCard / CAC all work to secure your data from unwanted intrusions and theft.
